Scope and controller

This Privacy Policy applies to the Rivet Nova Android application, the web alpha at game.rivetnova.com, the website at rivetnova.com, and the Android beta program.

Rivet Nova is responsible for the game data described here. Google and other service providers may separately process information under their own privacy policies.

Information we use

• Account and identity: browser or installation identifier, pilot name, selected language and theme, and—when you choose Google Sign-In—your Google account identifier, name, and email address.
• Game activity: level, experience, resources, inventory, equipment, research, crafting, battles, ratings, quests, market activity, guild participation, cosmetics, rewards, and activity history.
• Social content: global, guild, and private chat messages, guild news, invitations, and moderation-related records.
• Purchases: subscription product, purchase token, status, expiration, and verification results. Rivet Nova does not receive or store your complete card number; Google Play processes payments.
• Advertising: rewarded-ad requests, completion transaction identifiers, reward timing, consent choices, and information processed by Google Mobile Ads such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, diagnostics, and ad interactions where permitted.
• Technical and security data: application version, device/browser information, timestamps, connection information, error details, anti-spam data, and security logs.
• Beta applications: the name, email address, consent record, and technical anti-abuse information submitted through the beta form.

Why we use information

We use information to create and recover pilots, save progression, operate multiplayer features, deliver messages and guild systems, process verified purchases and rewards, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, diagnose errors, maintain security, balance and improve the game, and comply with legal obligations.

Depending on your location and the activity involved, processing may be based on your consent, performance of the service you requested, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the game, or a legal obligation.

Rewarded advertising and consent

The Android application offers an optional rewarded advertisement approximately once every four hours. Completing it grants the reward displayed in the game. Rivet Nova uses Google AdMob and validates completion through a signed server-side callback before adding the reward.

Where required, Google User Messaging Platform presents advertising privacy choices before an ad is requested. Players in applicable regions can reopen those choices from the in-game Settings screen. Declining personalized advertising does not prevent normal game access; the available advertising mode is determined by Google and the applicable consent signal.

When information is shared

Information may be processed by service providers that help operate Rivet Nova, including hosting and database providers, Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google AdMob, and security or delivery services. Public pilot names, rankings, guild information, market listings, and messages are visible to other players as part of the game.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect players and the service, or as part of a future business transfer with appropriate safeguards. Rivet Nova does not sell players' personal information for money.

Retention and player choices

Game and account records are kept while needed to provide persistent progression and maintain the integrity of multiplayer systems. Security, transaction, moderation, and purchase records may be retained longer when necessary for fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, or legal compliance. Beta contact information is retained for beta invitations and program administration unless you ask us to remove it.

You may change language, theme, audio, and applicable advertising privacy choices in the game. You may permanently delete your account in the game Settings or submit a request through the account deletion page. Some limited information may need to be retained or anonymized to protect other players, complete transactions, prevent fraud, or meet legal obligations.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted connections, signed callbacks, account-binding safeguards, and technical monitoring designed to protect the service. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed in countries other than your own where our providers operate, subject to available contractual and legal safeguards.

Children

The current Android beta is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age permitted in their country. A parent or guardian who believes a child supplied personal information should contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Rivet Nova develops, providers change, or legal requirements evolve. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
