Community guidelines.

Agreement and scope

You must accept the in-game Chat Rules before using social features. By accepting, you agree to these Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use Chat or other player-content features.

The rules apply to Global, Guild, and Private Chat; pilot and guild names; guild news; invitations; market offers; reports; and any future user-created content.

Respect other pilots

• No harassment, bullying, stalking, threats, targeted abuse, or encouragement of self-harm.
• No hate speech, slurs, dehumanizing content, or attacks based on protected characteristics.
• No sexual harassment, sexually explicit content, or attempts to sexualize minors.
• No impersonation of Rivet Nova staff, other players, companies, or public authorities.
• Disagreement and competitive banter are allowed; persistent or degrading abuse is not.

Safety, privacy, and legality

• Do not share or request passwords, authentication codes, precise locations, financial information, or private identifying data.
• Do not publish another person's private information or threaten to do so.
• No scams, phishing, malware, illegal goods, exploitative content, or instructions intended to harm people or systems.
• No spam, mass invitations, repetitive messages, deceptive links, or unrelated advertising.

Fair play and game integrity

• Do not use bots, modified clients, automation, exploits, unauthorized tools, or manipulated network requests.
• Do not sell accounts, resources, components, guild access, or services for real-world money outside systems explicitly provided by Rivet Nova.
• Do not coordinate rating manipulation, fraudulent rewards, payment abuse, or deliberate disruption of the service.
• Report security issues privately through Report Bug; do not demonstrate or promote an exploit in Chat.

Marketplace and guild conduct

Market prices may be freely chosen within the game's rules, but deceptive offers, coordinated scams, real-money trading, and harassment over a transaction are prohibited. Guild founders and assistants must use moderation powers responsibly. Guild news and names follow the same content rules as Chat.

Player safety tools

Use the flag beside a message to report it privately. Reports include the relevant message for moderator review. Open a pilot profile to block or unblock that pilot. Blocking hides their Global and Guild messages and prevents Private Messages and guild invitations in both directions. Your blocked list is available in Settings.

For immediate safety, block first and report the specific message. Do not retaliate or organize harassment.

Moderation and enforcement

Rivet Nova may review reports, related content, account activity, and technical signals. Depending on severity and history, action may include a warning, content removal, temporary or permanent Chat mute, feature restriction, account suspension, or account termination. Severe conduct may result in immediate suspension without a prior warning.

False or abusive reporting may itself lead to action. Enforcement decisions consider context, credible evidence, repetition, and risk to players or the service.

Updates to these rules

These guidelines may change as Rivet Nova adds features or legal and platform requirements evolve. A new rules version may require players to accept again before using Chat.
